The first Maxidom’s store was opened in 1997 in St. Petersburg and since then the company has shown steady growth. Over the years Maxidom has become a leading home improvement company in Russia. In 2020 Maxidom purchased Castorama Russia (18 stores in 13 regions) which was a part of the British group Kingfisher plc.
